A.I. learns Go by first watching previously-played games. Lots of them. With economies, however, the first few “games” are still being played and the rules are not as clear. So the system needs a model. The Ofmos theory views an economy as a complex system with emergent behaviors, providing the basic framework for an Intelligent Economy Manager suited for the age of big data.

1. A widget was just sold. Instantly, the transaction is mapped relative to the product's value and complexity.
2. More buyers from the same community are buying the widget. The transactions appear clustered.
3. Over time, as the product knowledge grows, the cluster of transactions moves downward.
4. An economy can then be seen as a collection of clusters — signatures of the unique business spaces.
5. The collection of business spaces, each generating or loosing money, tends to bunch up at the bottom.
6. With more higher-skill jobs and a fairer wealth distribution, the "debunched" state is desired.
7. The A.I. system manages the collection of business spaces toward a "debunched" state of the economy.
8. The system identifies and deploys narrowly-targeted policies to create, delete, or influence business spaces.
